My current student; Kihana

I really enjoy teaching adults, and one of my students is Kihana, who attends Queensland College of Music. She’s in the process of learning to play the drum kit. How fast or slow she progresses depends on what’s going on in her personal life. She used to own a business in the Brisbane CBD and has also studied fashion, among other things. I’m curious about her life experiences since she’s been involved in so many different activities. Right now, she’s taking on the challenge of learning the drum kit, which involves coordinating her hands and feet. She struggles with some of the new techniques, but eventually, she manages to get the hang of them. Both of us need to practice patience, but I’m confident that she’ll eventually succeed. So far, things are moving in the right direction.
